SENSORS & DETECTION
Seismic Sensor
Detect and classify ground vibrations associated with footsteps, vehicle movement and tunnelling activity. Buried installation adds a concealed early-warning layer to border areas and site perimeters, with alerts brought together alongside imagery and other field observations.

OVERVIEW
An unseen layer of perimeter awareness.
Seismic sensors monitor vibrations travelling through the ground to detect activity around a protected boundary. Installed below the surface, they are designed to detect and classify signals associated with human footsteps, vehicle movement and tunnelling. Placing sensors along likely approaches can give operators earlier awareness of activity before it reaches critical infrastructure or a restricted area.
Keep the sensing layer concealed
Underground placement keeps the sensor out of direct view and makes its location less obvious to someone approaching the boundary. This reduces visible equipment along the perimeter and helps protect the sensing layer from casual interference. It also allows monitoring to extend beyond the most visible fence line or access point.
Cover remote and challenging terrain
Use seismic sensing across remote border sections and approaches to protected sites, including forested, desert and mountainous areas. A deployment can cover selected routes and crossing points as part of a wider monitoring network. Sensor placement should reflect the ground conditions, terrain and types of movement the team needs to identify.

PLATFORM INTEGRATION
One part of your protection system
Combine seismic alerts with virtual fences, cameras and other perimeter sensors to build a layered view of activity. Operators can use imagery and neighbouring sensor events to assess an alert, verify what is happening and coordinate the next step. Designed for long-term field deployment with limited routine upkeep, seismic sensors add monitoring in locations where frequent physical inspection would be difficult.
