Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains how WANWAVE LTD. handles personal information collected through the wave.aero website and enquiries sent to us. wave.aero is a wanwave brand. This policy covers this website, including its staging version at waveaero.wanwave.com; it does not cover data processed by customer monitoring products or operational platforms.
Who is responsible for your information?
WANWAVE LTD. is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Registered address: 12 Woodlands Park, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend, CF33 6DY, United Kingdom.
Company number: 15638121.
Email: info@wanwave.com.
Information you provide
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect your name, work email address, organisation, area of interest, country and message, to the extent you provide them. We also receive information you send directly by email. We use this information to respond, discuss your requirements and manage related correspondence. Required fields are identified on the form.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. Where you enquire about entering a contract personally, processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before entering that contract.
Product documentation downloads
When you request product documentation, such as a datasheet or product manual, we collect your work email address and any name or organisation you choose to provide. We record the requested resource and submission details in our WordPress database using Fluent Forms. We use this information to provide access to the document and manage resource requests, relying on our legitimate interest in handling those requests. A documentation request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
Website operation and security
Technical information, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, browser information and the pages requested, may be recorded to operate, troubleshoot and secure the website and protect enquiry channels against abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning and secure website for this processing.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the wave.aero website and to improve its content and usability. When you consent to statistics cookies, Google Analytics may collect information such as the pages you visit, interactions with the website, referral sources, approximate location, and browser and device information. It uses cookie identifiers to distinguish visits and sessions. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.
We use your consent as the legal basis for this analytics processing. You can decline statistics cookies or withdraw your consent through the website’s “Manage consent” control. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
We retain user-level and event-level analytics data for 14 months. New visits do not reset the retention period for user identifiers. Aggregated statistical reports may remain available for longer. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguards.
Jetpack and Jetpack Stats
We use Jetpack, provided by Automattic and connected to WordPress.com. Its enabled features involve processing by Automattic. We use Jetpack Stats to understand website traffic, including which pages visitors view and how they reach our website.
Jetpack Stats processing includes IP addresses, visited and referring URLs, event timestamps, browser information, language and country information. WordPress.com account identifiers may also be processed when a visitor is logged into WordPress.com. The information processed by other Jetpack features depends on the features enabled and whether you are logged in.
For optional statistics processing, we rely on your consent. You can decline or withdraw that consent through the website’s “Manage consent” control. Processing necessary for website operation and security relies on our legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning and secure website. For further information, see Automattic’s Privacy Policy and Jetpack’s feature-specific privacy information.
Services used to handle information
We use WordPress and Fluent Forms to collect enquiries. Form responses are stored in our website’s WordPress database, and configured email notifications are sent to our team. Google Workspace provides our company email service. Our hosting and email providers may process information as needed to deliver their services. Access to enquiries within wanwave is limited to authorised team members. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
International processing and access
Our website infrastructure and backups are located in the United Kingdom. Authorised team members may access enquiries from the United States. Our Google and Automattic services may involve processing outside the UK. Where international transfer restrictions apply, an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is required.
How long we keep information
Enquiries and documentation requests that do not lead to a customer relationship are retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction, then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to a customer relationship, relevant correspondence may be retained for managing that relationship and meeting applicable legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
WordPress and connected Jetpack features may use cookies or similar technologies. The technologies used depend on the features enabled and whether you are logged in. WordPress also uses cookies for administrator sign-in, security and saved display preferences.
Optional analytics cookies and similar technologies are used only with your consent. You can accept or decline statistics cookies and change your choice through the website’s “Manage consent” control. You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. You may also have rights to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive certain information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To make a request, contact info@wanwave.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or your relevant local data protection authority.

Links to external websites, including social networks, take you to services operated by other organisations. Their own privacy policies apply when you use those services.
