Overview  Specifications  Integration  Product brochure

The multi-standard digital handheld radio operates in the 400–480 MHz band and supports both ETSI DMR Tier I and II and APCO P25 Phase 1. Teams can select the supported standard to suit their communications network, using a familiar handheld format for voice coordination across field operations.

Two microphones feed digital signal processing that filters background noise. The software-defined radio architecture uses dynamic I/Q vector sampling and direct frequency conversion, while a software implementation of the AMBE codec supports Full Rate and Half Rate voice operation for APCO P25 and DMR.

A rugged housing combines conventional push-to-talk controls with provision for connected accessories. The replaceable lithium-ion battery, removable antenna and standard charging cradle support routine charging and servicing. The radio operates from −40°C to +55°C and has a stated operating time of 12 hours of continuous use.
